Among the purposes specified in the legal statutes of the Valencian Cluster of Energy Industries is to "represent, defend and promote the general interests of its members in order to develop and impulse its activities". In this sense, the association provides its companies with the following services:

• Business Support: companies are advised on legislative, administrative transactions, technical support, contract services, etc.
  
  
• Representation to the Public Administrations: the associated members are represented and defended before the local, regional and national administrations.
  
  
• Representation in different overseas markets: AVAESEN represents its partners in the framework of exhibitions, trade fairs, congresses, seminars, both at national and international level. 
  
  
• Organization of trade and market study missions in order to support companies in identifying and access new market niches. 
  
  
• Negotiation and cooperation Agreements with the aim of providing the companies with the necessary businesses services and tools for the development of their activities in the most favourable conditions.
  
  
• Employment support, through which we actively involve in the job creation and development of the entrepreneurial sector of the Valencian region. The association aims at being the bridging link between jobs supply and demand.
  
  
• Training: organization of seminars, forums, workshops, related to issues of interest to companies and based on their needs and demands. 
  
  
• Information service on grants and subsidies, both at local or regional level, and at European level: AVAESEN provides information on grants, reports on programmes, open calls and management procedures.
